Several people have been charged in New Jersey with downloading and distributing child pornography online.

The state attorney general's office announced the arrests Monday, saying they took place in 20 towns across the state.

But they declined to comment at length about the suspects and the charges they face, saying more information would be announced at a news conference Tuesday at the state technology complex in Hamilton (Mercer County).

Authorities say one of the suspects lived in a home connected to a child care facility, while another was actively downloading child porn images when detectives arrived to execute a search warrant.
