Officials say Assemblyman Nelson Albano is now resting at his Vineland home and is expected to fully recover. And he may be able to attend a legislative voting session scheduled for Thursday.

Tom Hester Jr., spokesman for the Assembly Democrats, said Albano suffered the heart attack on Friday -- two days before his 58th birthday. But further details were not disclosed.

Albano has represented the state's 1st Legislative District since 2006 and chairs the Assembly's Agriculture and Natural Resources committee. He became the Democrats' deputy conference leader this year and also serves on the Labor and Law and Safety committees.
