Newark police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly held a 59-year-old woman at gunpoint as he stole money from her.

The robbery happened on Feb. 22 at 100 Chadwick Ave., an apartment building at the corner of Madison Avenue.

The Newark Police Department’s Robbery Squad released a wanted poster Friday with images taken from video cameras of a man they describe as one of two suspects in the robbery. Police said both men involved in the robbery were armed with handguns and remain at large.

Police are asking that anyone with information contact Crime Stoppers at (877) 695-8477. All calls are confidential and a reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
