Newark Mayor Saves Woman From Fire

Late Thursday night the Mayor of Newark, Cory Booker, risked his life and carried a woman out of a burning house.  When noticing his neighbor’s home was on fire and the Fire Department had not yet arrived, Booker along with two members of his security entered the burning home and rescued the woman. The Mayor was in good enough condition after saving the woman to tweet “Just suffering smoke inhalation. We got the woman out of the house. We are both off to hospital. I will b ok.”

Cory Booker was released from the hospital at 11:30pm on Thursday night.
