The station that links Newark Liberty International Airport with New Jersey Transit (NJT) tracks will be closed throughout the suspension.

Dozens of spots on the system's multi-mile running surface are showing signs of erosion, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

A Port Authority press release noted substitute shuttle bus service will be provided from Newark Penn Station. The airport has had its own stop along certain NJT tracks.
