With the 19th pick in the draft the New York Giants selected Syracuse offensive tackle  Justin Pugh.

Hopefully he becomes a fixture on the G-men Offensive line for years. He will definitely have some fixtures to learn from like David Diehl and Chris Snee, as well as Snee’s father- in-law and Syracuse Alumni Tom Coughlin. In fact when Pugh was asked by the Giants who the Syracuse alumni he is most familiar with his answer was “Coughlin.” The Giants'  response?  ”Welcome to the New York Giants.”

If there is a knock on Pugh it’s his arms which are one inch shorter than they would like but Giants general manager Jerry Reese who seldom misses on a draft choice doesn’t think it will matter.

Besides, what Pugh lacks in arms, he makes up for in heart as this clip of him getting the news of being drafted and his friends response afterwards will show.
