New Project Clears NJ’s Housing Market Picture [AUDIO]

Home buyers and professionals will have a new information source about New Jersey's housing market.

By gleaning housing market data from the state's nine multiple listing services, the New Jersey Association of Realtors has launched an addition to their website they say will give consumers and professionals current housing information for the state and by counties.

"We're seeing a strong housing market here in the state of New Jersey, we're starting to rebuild," Jarrod Grasso, CEO of the New Jersey Association of Realtors says. "I encourage people to go to www.njar.com/10k and see how the market's going."

Buyers interested in single family homes, townhouses, condos or an adult community listing will get current data to help them understand the complex market.

Key metrics in each category include: median sales price, number of days on the market, the number of new listings, closed sales, pending sales and more.
