Thursday's high temperatures reached the upper 80s to near 90; 90 in Newark and Wrightstown, Burlington County.

Boy, there was some very heavy rain and nasty thunderstorms, particularly in Central New Jersey and parts of Northern New Jersey last evening.

Today, we'll do it all over again.  Showers and thunderstorms will be arriving by probably, no later, than late morning at the beaches, and a little bit earlier elsewhere.  This afternoon, showers and a gusty thunderstorm will move through, some with heavy downpours.  A few highs may just sneak into the low 80s, but cooler near the ocean.

Now, evening thunderstorms may tend to taper off tonight, but expect some showers overnight.  It'll still be humid with temperatures in the 70s.

Shower and, perhaps, a thunderstorm will be around much of the day tomorrow, certainly the first half of the day.  I'm not sure whether or not we may have some luck, and they may start to taper off from the Delaware River to the shore during Saturday afternoon.  Highs tomorrow just in the 80s.

Partly sunny and less humid Sunday in the 80s.  It looks like a nice day.
