Hamilton Township officials say they found the ducklings in a storm drain Tuesday. But they were down too deep for anyone to get to so officials called in heavier equipment.

They used a township water jet truck to flush eight of the ducklings out of the drain and into the arms of rescuers. But one stubborn duckling endured the stream and had to be plucked from the drain Wednesday.

Their mother wasn't there, so officials took the ducklings to the Mercer County Wildlife Center.
