“The early reports from the shore indicate no major damage done - I spoke to Mayor Long is Seabright this morning, they had some flooding in Seabright, I spoke to folks in Mantoloking- had some flooding of Route 35 in Mantoloking, but no damage to the roadway that is evident” said Governor Chris Christie earlier today.

The storm also flooded hundreds of homes in Atlantic City, but compared to Superstorm Sandy, the damage was minimal.

The Governor also said with the possibility of more snow tonight into tomorrow, officials at the State Emergency Operations Center are keeping an eye on developments, and giving updates to the Governor’s Office.

“At this point” said the Governor, “so far so good.”
