His all-or-nothing New Hampshire strategy is not paying off. According to a Monmouth University Poll released on Sept. 10, Christie remains tied for ninth at 2 percent.

The candidates making the biggest impact continue to be those who have never held political office.

Donald Trump is at 28 percent and Ben Carson is at 17 percent. According to the poll, Carson's support in New Hampshire has jumped by 12 percentage points since Monmouth's prior poll, which was taken in late July shortly before the first debate on Aug. 6.

Carly Fiorina also continues to see her numbers jump. She's up to 7 percent, a five point jump.

Jeb Bush and Scott Walker continue to struggle and see their numbers fall in this latest poll.

Tomorrow the second presidential debate will be held on CNN.
