Scarlett, Nemo, Karenna, Stacy and Sire Need Forever Homes [NJ Pets of the Week]

NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League, Sammy’s Hope and Animal Rescue 'R' Us to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes.

Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Adopt Scarlett

Scarlett is a beautiful, unique tiger tabby with bits of red in her coat. She's about 6-or 7-years old, and was found wandering alone outside.  Scarlett's very friendly and interested in being included in all the activity around her. She's fully vetted and very healthy.

Adopt Nemo

Nemo is a long legged Jack Russell/Beagle mix with lots of energy.  A securely fenced in yard is a must because this boy loves his freedom and loves to run and have fun. Nemo is about 9-months-old and about 24 pounds.  We're not sure about his house training  because he's in a dog run.  He gets out a couple times a day for walks and takes care of business right away.  He is very sweet and friendly, and lots of fun.

Adopt Karenna

Karenna was found in the middle of the road after being hit directly in the back by a car.  The accident shattered all her bones.  Karenna had to learn how to walk again, but she's doing really well!  She uses a special wheelchair, but started running with it!  Despite all she has been through, she is a sweet girl, great with dogs, cats and kids. Karenna is about 4-years-old, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Karenna will need a special home.  Is it yours?

Adopt Sire

Sire is a friendly senior Rottweiler male. He loves just hanging out with people. He knows lots of commands that he will happily show you, especially if you have a treat!  Sire would like to be the only pet in his new home, and promises to give you 100% of his love!

Adopt Stacy

It's impossible to look at Stacy and do anything but smile. Her petite size is matched with her bold grey and white markings. And that pink, bubblegum nose!  She enjoys prancing around her cage, and is warming up to people more everyday. Stacy enjoys playing peek-a-boo as she peers out behind her blanket, and will gently rub her head against your hand in affection.
