Need a Job? Zombies Please Apply, Six Flags is Hiring
Looking for a job? There's good news. Six Flags is looking to hire more than 175 zombie actors, dancers and specialty performers for this year's Fright Fest festival.
Zombie-applicants should be prepared to deliver their best zombie performance and will be asked to work through acting exercises. Previous acting experience is not necessary.
Zombie positions start at $9 an hour but pay rates vary depending upon the position.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old or older and must be willing to work weekends from Sept. 22 to October 28.
Auditions will be held at the Six Flags Great Adventure Employment Center and applicants are urged to use the employment, service entrance on Route 537. Applicants should park in the employee parking lot and proceed to security gate 5 and follow signs to the theater. A pre-employment application must be completed before the audition and you can view it here.
Zombie, performer and female singer and host auditions will be held on August 11, 12, and 25 at 1 p.m. An evening audition will be held August 17 at 6 p.m.
Dance auditions will be held at 7 p.m. July 27 and at 12 p.m. July 28. Acrobats, magicians and specialty performers will be expected to deliver a performance that showcases their talent.
