We are quickly approaching a landmark holiday. No, I'm not talking about Thanksgiving. The third annual National Unfriend Day is just around the corner. Jimmy Kimmel chose November 17th as the date. That would make it this upcoming Saturday. But what exactly is National Unfriend Day?

National Unfriend Day is a day dedicated to removing people from your Facebook friends list who you would no longer like to see in your news feed. It could be anyone. Someone who overshares or undershares. Someone who added you as a friend after you met them once at a bowling alley through mutual friends four years ago.

To further explain National Unfriend Day, check out the video below from last night's Jimmy Kimmel show.
