National Guard Sgt.’s surprise homecoming

Bill Modica thought he and his wife would take in a Trenton Thunder game and forget the stresses of life for a little while, the biggest of which being that his daughter was halfway around the world have spent the last nine months in Afghanistan. Only New Jersey National Guard Sgt. Ellen Modica wasn't there anymore.

She was hiding in a dugout in a scheme hatched by her and her mom. They brought the couple down on the field on the premise of playing a Wheel of Fortune game on the jumbotron. Bill nailed the puzzle quickly, correctly guessing Welcome Home as the answer. He thought nothing of it. It is after all a common phrase. Then he turned around to see his daughter walking towards him from the dugout. What results is an incredibly touching video.
