“Old Blue Eyes” was back in Hoboken last Friday, or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof as Mario Cruz of Guttenberg and his rendition of "My Way" earned him first place among 14 competitors in the 7th Annual Hoboken Sinatra Contest.

The festivities opened with host Gary "Simpsinatra" Simpson, singing "Nice 'n' Easy" to the crowd of hundreds gathered on the banks of the Hudson River

Then singer after singer doing songs such as “Blues in the Night”, “The Lady Is A Tramp” “Night and Day” and “Cheek To Cheek” paid tribute to the Hoboken native who was the most influential man of his time, and definitely the coolest person to ever come out of New Jersey.

You can watch a clip of winner Mario Cruz, performing "My Way" a few months back below.
