Let's face it. This election is regarded as a snoozer. It shouldn't be, but it is. Most people seem to either not know much about either Phil Murphy or Kim Guadagno despite the ads and media exposure, or they don't like what they do know. So for those with the fortitude to make it through Wednesday night's second debate, I applaud you. You may however need a little help getting to the end.

That's where Murphagno Drinking Game comes in!

The rules are simple, and you can add to them or adapt them how you'd like. Whenever a candidate says, "First let me thank..." you have to drink a beer. Just a few sips. This will happen twice in the first moments of the debate (it happens in every debate) so you don't want to get too wasted before the lies begin.

Whenever Murphy says the phrase, "His record is your record" you have to do a shot. It can be whiskey, or anything else you prefer as long as it's hard liquor. If he doesn't say that exact phrase but something similar to tie Guadagno to Chris Christie, then chug a beer.

Whenever Guadagno points out Murphy will raise over 1 billion in taxes, take a shot. Again, any hard liquor will do. Whenever Guadagno points our Murphy cannot possibly pay for all of his promises or asks how he will pay for his promises, chug a beer.

If the sound gets crappy and either candidate has to once again point out they can't hear a question, drink 5 gulps of beer. Whenever a candidate runs over their time limit and moderator has to shut them up, drink 3 gulps of beer.

Rules can be added to and changed as you see fit. DO NOT partake in the Murphagno Drinking Game if you plan on driving or operating any heavy or dangerous machinery. DO NOT partake if you are caring for young children. DO NOT partake if you have health issues or substance abuse issues. DO NOT partake if you are under 21 years old. DO NOT partake if you are allergic to alcohol. Finally, DO NOT continue to end of debate if you feel you are getting too drunk.

Whenever you read endless liability disclaimers, drink a beer.
