NJ.com reports that following the alleged attacks, Rodney Jencsik fled to his home at the Ideal mobile homes off Rahway Avenue and barricaded himself shortly before 4 p.m. Monday afternoon, prompting a SWAT team response. By 7:30 p.m., officers could be heard asking Jencsik to drop a gun. Two loud bangs then reportedly rang out.

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey declined to say Monday night whether Jencsik had opened fire. Jencsik initially survived being shot, and will be charged with murder if he recovers.

The victim killed in Old Bridge is identified as Dina Marie Heil. Her relationship to Jencsik and the other victim was not immediately clear.
