Lady Gaga will kick off the annual MTV Music Video Awards at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn tonight.

“I’m so excited,” Gaga told ABC News.  “We’ve been planning this for a year!”

Another highly anticipated performance at the 30th VMA show may come from a reunion of 90s boy band *NSYNC as member Justin Timberlake receives the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. “You never know,” Lance Bass told ABC News of talk of a reunion. “That would be an amazing, amazing time.”

Adding fuel to the fire is a new *NSYNC Twitter account that proclaims itself as "the one & only official twitter page for *NSYNC!" It has over 100,000 followers in just a couple of days.


The host-less show will also feature performances from Drake, Bruno Mars, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and Kanye West. Katy Perry will close the show with a performance from under the Brooklyn Bridge according to Us Weekly, which reports she couldn't get a permit to perform on top of the bridge. Jimmy Fallon presents Timberlake with his award.

Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jared Leto, Kevin Hart, Emeli Sande and A$AP Rocky are among the scheduled presenters according to CBS News. MTV will also present the movie trailer for "Divergent" during the VMAs pre-show.

Timberlake and Macklemore and Lewis are tied with six nominations each, including Video of the Year.

The show itself will take award shows  to a new level with 10 different camera angles available on the MTV website according to the New York Daily News. The website will also collect all social media comment and allow create their own GIFs.
