When someone with a background in teaching gives another teacher high praise, that's saying something.

Such is the case with Mrs. Laura Breiten, a Kindergarten teacher at Eastlake Elementary School in Parsippany.

Andrea Lillard, who nominated her for NJ's favorite teacher, states that Mrs. Breiten is creative, kind and compassionate.

She's the first to arrive at school and the last to leave--as well as serving as teacher liaison for the PTA. Now that's commitment!

With so many stories of teachers just "phoning it in", it's so great to hear of a teacher who goes above and beyond!

Now, Andrea has a problem: Her son doesn't want to leave her class and go onto first grade! Kudos to you, Mrs. Breiten!

Dennis and Judi are sponsoring up with Mark Montenero from Autoland to celebrate Jersey's Favorite Teachers. Tell us about a teacher who has made a difference in your life. Dennis and Judi will read some of their favorite submissions on the air over the next several days. Each selected teacher will get a $100 gift certificate to Fords Jewelers, and the person nominating the teacher will get a family four-pack to iPlay America.

One overall winner will get a bagel breakfast for the teacher's whole class with Mark, Dennis and Judi.
