Mount Laurel Police are seeking help identifying a man who allegedly stole his date's iPhone 6 plus.

Police said the the man used a dating ap to meet the victim near the Dunkin' Donuts on Route 73, near the I-295 ramp, at 12:35 a.m. Feb. 10. The man entered the victim's car and directed the victim to drive to the end of the dead end of Lenola Road, adjacent to the East Gate Square Shopping Center on Nixon Drive, police said, police said.

Once the victim and the man were on the secluded dead end, the man asked to use the victim's iPhone, police said. Once the victim gave the man the phone, he ran off with it towards Route 73, police said.

Two hours later, at 2:38 a.m., the man attempted to commit the same crime, but the second attempted victim refused to hand over his phone. The man fled the scene, police said.

Mount Laurel Police posted two still shots from video captured by a surveillance camera in the area and a photo the suspect shared with one of the victims through the dating app on Facebook in hopes the public could help identify him.
