Mother, Daughter Accosted in Gloucester, Man Charged with Lewdness

A Gloucester man accused of exposing himself to a mother and her daughter was arrested yesterday and charged with lewdness.

John Boyle Jr., 44, was arrested by the Gloucester Township Police Department yesterday on the charge of lewdness.

Boyle is accused of exposing himself and performing lewd acts in front of a mother and her 15-year old daughter as they entered a vehicle in the residential area, according to the police.  A young boy in the vicinity could see the acts as well.

Police responded around 2:18 p.m. to a report of a man removing his shirt and pants in the area of Oak Avenue. The police searched the vicinity and found Boyle in the surrounding area of where the incident took place.

Boyle was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility after being charged with forth-degree lewdness.
