Morris & Essex line reopens as truck dangles off Route 80
The evening commute might still be messy for North Jersey drivers, but those taking the Morris and Essex train line can breath easy.
A portion of a dump truck wound up hanging over NJ Transit tracks in a space between the east and westbound lanes of Route 80 at exit No. 28 (Route 631) in Roxbury late Friday afternoon.
As of 4 p.m. p.m., the left and center eastbound lanes remained closed, though the truck was no longer hanging off the tracks. But the Morris & Essex train line, partially shut down earlier as a precaution, resumed full service around 2:30 p.m.
