First, reports are swirling that long-time friend and ally, State. Sen Joe Kyrillos (R-Monmouth), has decided to back Jeb Bush's campaign. Kyrillos recently donated $10,000 to the Bush PAC.

Kyrillos had once served as the chair of the Christie 2009 gubernatorial campaign, but their relationship has reportedly strained since Kyrillos' unsuccessful 2012 U.S. Senate bid.

Meanwhile, another day and another bad poll for the governor.

Today's FDU-PublicMind survey shows that barely one-third of New Jerseyans approve of the job that Christie is doing.

These are just two more hurdles for Christie to overcome in his bid to win a GOP nomination.
