Felicia Williams of Montclair was charged with aggravated manslaughter in the indictment recently handed up by an Essex County grand jury. It was made public on Monday

The charge stems from a Jan. 13 altercation in the home Williams shared with 47-year-old Herbert Spriggs III. Prosecutors say Williams stabbed Spriggs once during a heated argument, but further details were not disclosed.

The 38-year-old Williams remains jailed on $250,000 bail.

It was not known Monday if she has retained an attorney.
