Monmouth University Offering Class in Zombies [VIDEO]

Just how big has the zombie phenomenon gotten? Big enough that you can take a college course on it!

Add Monmouth University to the growing list of schools that offer a class in Zombies. The class is entitled "Zombies: Social Anxiety and Pop Culture." The three-credit class was reportedly one of the first to fill up when it was offered.

The majority of the class focuses on the zombie pop-culture phenomenon with only a small portion reserved for actually watching zombie films. Students taking the class are actually required to prepare a real-life evacuation plan for the campus in case of a zombie apocalypse.

Jim actually mentioned that with all the zombie phenomenon, before long, we'll find ourselves much like Vincent Price in the movie "The Last Man on Earth" or Charlton Heston in "The Omega Man."
