Twenty-nine-year-old Nicholas DePue, of Jackson, has been charged with second-degree counts of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The Monmouth County prosecutor's office says he was released after posting a $100,000 bond. Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Jamie Perri has ordered he have no contact with the victim and barred DePue from the scene of the alleged crimes.

Officials did not specify where or when the alleged conduct occurred.

DePue faces up to 10 years in prison for each charge.
