High temperatures Tuesday reached the low 80s, as high as 83 at Newark Liberty Airport.  83 to 84 is the normal high temperature for this time of the year.

Today will be in the low to perhaps mid 80s with some sunshine and moderate humidity.  I've taken out any mention of a shower today.  By the way, the beaches will be a bit cooler as you might expect.

Some clear skies with lows back in the 60s, even a few 50s are possible again in NW Jersey, and low 70s along the south coast.

Partly sunny tomorrow with highs in the mid 80s, but cooler near the ocean.

Some sunshine Friday with maybe an afternoon or evening thunderstorm with highs in the mid to upper 80s, but cooler again at the beaches.

And the weekend looks reasonably decent, at least as of now, from here.

Isaac, the ninth storm of the season, is slowly strengthening as a tropical storm and will become a hurricane in the next day or so.  It will traverse the southern coast of the Dominican Republic and moves into the eastern part of Cuba by later this weekend.

It could be a threat to south Florida by as early as Monday of next week.
