I don't know much about models. Just don't care about models. So I don't know who Michelle Kalinkina is. But I do know a frivolous lawsuit when I see one.

Kalinkina is suing a Jersey celebrity stylist for accidentally scraping the model's precious neck while doing a hair cutting demonstration earlier this year. It was taking place at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center on March 7th. The model claims stylist Martino Cartier, who has shops in Sewell and Cherry Hill, poked her with his scissors and left her with a scar. Yeah. I'd like to see a picture of just how bad this scar is. Besides, Kalinkina has long hair from the pics I researched. Long hair that would likely cover it up. Then there's the fact that she's surely airbrushed and photoshopped to death anyway, so how is this worth the $5 million she's seeking in a federal lawsuit? Court papers claim "pain, shock and mental anguish."

Cartier, who is said to have worked with Vogue magazine as well as at the Golden Globe Awards, has yet to comment. I think most of us could comment for him in telling this model to stop being a drama queen and realize her precious neck is not worth $5 million. Even if there really is a scar, I'm sure it's minuscule. It was an accident. Grow up and move on.
