MMA fighter kicked down doors to rescue 6 from burning home

An MMA-style fighter in South Jersey has used his skills for an unexpected bit of good.

ABC 7 reported Moutasem Aburomi ran into a burning home in Paterson and rescued six people. Witnesses told the station he used his shirt to cover his nose and mouth and ran inside, kicking out doors to find people who were trapped including one man in the attic.

"It is the best feeling that I saved, and I was there to help out, help those people out. I can't explain the way I feel to be honest. I never felt that way," Aburomi told the station. He said he wants to dedicate his life to helping others.
