A Rutgers University woman from Hillside who mysteriously went missing Saturday has been found safe.

Hillside Police said 20-year-old Brianna A. Thomas was found safe in Orange Monday night around 9 p.m. She was transported to University Hospital for evaluation, police said. There doesn’t appear to be any foul play or criminality involved in her disappearance, according to police.

Thomas, 20, had last been seen on Rutgers' New Brunswick campus on Saturday around 2 p.m., police previously said. She'd been studying in a dorm with a friend and left behind her laptop, police said. Her mother reported her missing on Sunday, according to police.

Police found her four-door black Pontiac Grand Prix on Highland Avenue near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue in Orange on Saturday.
