Missing Princeton Woman’s Body Found in Park
The body of a Princeton woman who was reported missing on Thursday was found several hours later in a state park in Clinton.
Liz Gray Erickson, 46, was reported missing by her husband around 5:30 a.m. according to Planet Princeton, which reports he told police she had been depressed and talked about taking her own life in recent days.
New Jersey Parks Police discovered what turned out to be Erickson's 2014 Audi parked in the middle of the road at Spruce Run Reservoir in Clinton around 7:30 a.m. Police searched around the area and found her body under some brush along the reservoir's bank early in the afternoon and were able to identify the body as Erickson several hours later according to the Times of Trenton.
An exact cause of death has yet to be determined although foul play is not suspected reports the Times.
Planet Princeton reports a candlelight vigil was held Thursday night in Princeton's Palmer Square to remember the mother of three who was a member of many non-profit boards and foundations.
