Minor Injuries in Lawrence School Bus Crash

 Two children sustained minor injuries after police say their school bus was rear-ended by an SUV in Lawrence Thursday.

Police issued tickets for careless driving and failure to wear a seat belt to the driver of the SUV.

The bus was taking students to Slackwood Elementary School when the accident occurred.

Police tell The Times of Trenton the school nurses treated the children for scrapes and bruises.  The driver of the SUV suffered a minor injury to his nose.
