Michael Sam Delivers the NFL’s First Openly Gay Kiss
With the 249th selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, The St Louis Rams took Michael Sam. He enters the NFL as the league's first openly gay player. You might recognize him from a Visa commercial, which he made before the draft even started.
When Sam was taken in the 7th round by the Rams, he celebrated by bringing his sexuality into both the NFL draft and your living room. The two shared the NFL’s first televised gay kiss, and later smashed cake in each others faces. This is a milestone moment for the National Football League.
