The numbers drawn were: 5, 12, 22, 41 and 65. The Mega Ball was 13 and the Megaplier number was 2.

No one claimed Tuesday's grand prize, pushing the jackpot to an estimated $400 million for Friday night's drawing.

A ticket sold at Shop Rite on Route 70 in Manchester was one of 5 sold that matched all of the first five numbers but not the Mega Ball that is worth $1 million. There were 2 tickets winning tickets sold in Ohio and one each in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Friday's drawing has a cash value of $216 million

Tuesday night's drawing was the 20th in a row without a winner, a period of time that that seen 439% more players winning winning prizes from Mega Millions. Also in October, the nationwide game made several rule changes in October to allow for higher, faster growing jackpots without raising the ticket price. The changes were also aimed at giving more players the opportunity to win prizes.

“Over the years our players requested that the games allow for more players to have winning experiences. The Lottery directors listened and the players are reaping the benefits from recent game changes," said Carole Hedinger, the New Jersey Lottery's Executive Director.

Players need to match all five numbers and the gold Mega Ball to claim the jackpot. Tickets for Mega Millions are sold in 43 states and the District of Columbia including New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
