Meet The Real ‘Anchorman’ Who Inspired Ron Burgundy [VIDEO]

A long time ago, in the mind of a comic actor far, far away, existed an idea. To help Will Ferrell flesh out the character of Ron Burgundy in “Anchorman” he reached out to a veteran newsman who inspired part of the storyline. Find out who it was in this interview.

“Anchorman 2″ is coming out December 18th. Am I the only one who feels this movie has been hyped for a year now? I hope it’s good. Between not only the ads but the appearances, Will Farrell sitting in as surprise fill-in news anchor Ron Burgundy on a local newscast in North Dakota, the Dodge Durango commercials and all the rest, it’s been an oversaturation. Honestly, sometimes this much hype builds up such high expectations that no movie no matter how good can meet them.
