CLINTON, Md — Two young sisters from Newark were stabbed to death in a Maryland home on Friday, local authorities reported.

Antonio Williams, 25, of Clinton, Md. was arrested and charged in connection to deaths of Ariana Decree, 9, and Ajayah Decree, 6 who were visiting along with his sister, Nadira Withers, 6 who lived with her brother, according to Prince George County Police.

The Decree sisters are the daughters of the Williams' mother’s cousin. Williams had sole care and custody of the children on Thursday into Friday, according to police.

A statement from the Prince George's County Police said Withers' mother came home from work on Friday morning and found all three with stab wounds. The girls were found lying together on a bed in a basement bedroom and police said at a press conference on Saturday that all three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Williams confessed to stabbing the three, and police said they are working to establish a motive. The Washington Post reported that today is Williams' birthday.

Williams is charged with three counts of first and second murder and related charges. He is in custody of the Maryland Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.

Clinton is located southeast of Washington DC near Andrews Air Force Base.
