NORTH BERGEN - A man wanted for stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of Rolex watches from a store in upstate New York was found, and taken into custody, thanks to an anonymous tip, at a New Jersey Bank.

Daniel Sable, 27, was arrested on Saturday by the US Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Task Force at the PNC Bank on River Road.

Sable, already wanted in Ocean County after failing to appear in court on armed robbery charges, was later identified through surveillance video as being suspected of stealing $60,000 worth of watches from a store in Rochester.

The Marshals service said he was arrested after attempting to flee and resisting arrest. "The U.S. Marshal's Service will continue to work closely with our state and local partners to ensure that violent fugitives, such as Sable, are brought to Justice," said United States Marshal for the District of New Jersey Juan Mattos Jr.
