Married Teacher Leaves Family For Teenage Student

Here is a story that will surely make you shake your head.James Hooker, who up until last week, was a married 41-year-old father of three.  Hooker was a respected teacher at Enochs High School in Modesto, California.

Last week, the teacher shocked the community by quitting his job and abandoning his family to move in with a new girlfriend...his 18-year-old student, Jordan Powers.

The pair claim that even though they knew each other since her freshmen year,  nothing physical occurred until Powers' 18th birthday this past September.

The scandal has the community of Modesto in an uproar, with Powers' mother, Tammie, launching a police investigation into the matter to find out if anything physical did take place before Jordan's 18th birthday.

Despite the backlash and criticism, Hooker says he has no regrets.
