The manager of baseball's Miami Marlins is feeling the fallout from his comments to Time Magazine, in which he was quoted as saying he loves and respects former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

Manager Ozzie Guillen, who is from Venezuela, has been suspended for five games -- but there are some in Miami's large Cuban-American community who want him fired.

The team is just settling into its new stadium in Miami's Little Havana area, where many Cuban exiles feel no affection for Castro. Guillen today has again apologized and says he accepts the punishment.

He told a news conference his comments were misinterpreted by the reporter, and he doesn't love or admire Castro. Guillen said the episode has left him sad and embarrassed.
