The body of a Marine missing from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst was discovered Saturday after a week-long search.

Nancy Schaefer of Missing In America told the Patch of Manchester that Sgt. Tristan Clinger's body was found by the Burlington County K9 unit during a search in the Browns Mills section of Pemberton.

Messages for the Burlington County Proseuctor's Office have not yet been returned.

Clinger, originally from Louisville, Kentucky according to NBC 10, was stationed at the Joint Base and was reported missing on Sat., Dec. 20. His wife told the television station he seemed distraught just before his disappearance.
