Maple Shade Drowning Victim Identified

Authorities in Burlington County have identified the body found Thursday in Maple Shade's Steinhauer Pond as 59 year old Daniel Donahue.

The body was discovered Thursday morning by somebody passing by, who flagged down a Maple Shade patrol officer after seeing the man floating lifeless in the pond.

From there, local, county and state authorities rushed to the scene to conduct an investigation.

The Burlington County Medical Examiners Office says that the person is a drowning victim with no indications of foul play or a crime.

The victim's next of kin have been notified.  He had no current residence, with previous addresses in Maple Shade and Runnemede.
