The national anthem has become a must-see at pro football games (soon it will be on "Red Zone" :) ). But At Manalapan High School, it's a "must-sing."

That's what students did last Friday night while some players from visiting Neptune were taking a knee.

It's looking more and more like our approach to the the anthem has evolved from just standing. For some, doing so is a sign of respect; for others, refusing to do so is a way to make a point.

But of the evolution is this: Students from both sides are now forming opinions on what was once just a song they played before the game.
