MANALAPAN — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man shown in surveillance video seen holding up the Sun National Bank on Route 9 Friday afternoon by threatening the teller with a bomb.

Authorities don't actually know if the suspect was actually in possession of any type of explosive device or weapons.

Authorities say the robber was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black hat and sunglasses. He escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white, middle-aged man, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing about 185 pounds.

Manalapan police asked anyone with information about the robbery to call 732-446-4300 or the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office at 800-533-7443.
