Stafford police say the accident occurred around 12:20 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a township restaurant.

Eighteen-year-old township resident Nicholas Price was treated at a hospital for a head injury, but further details on his condition were not disclosed.

Police say Price jumped onto the hood of a vehicle driven by his friend, 19-year-old township resident Richard Fox Jr. But he soon fell off when Fox started to drive.

It's not clear why Price jumped on the hood.

No charges have been filed so far, but an investigation is ongoing.
