Winslow Township police say 61-year-old Rodrigo Ocampo was struck around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Boccella Precast plant. They say it appears that the Egg Harbor Township man walked into the path of the forklift and the person operating it did not see him.

The forklift was carrying a large hopper filled with concrete.

Ocampo was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed, but the accident remains under investigation by township police and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
