PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP — A man was found shot dead in a car in front of a South Jersey home on Tuesday night, authorities said.

Shaquille Williams, 24, of Browns Mills was found in a car in front of a home on Kinsley Road near Bush Street in the Sunbury Village section of Pemberton Township was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi.

Bernardi said no charges have been filed and an autopsy will be performed by the Burlington County Medical Examiner

6ABC Action News reported a fire also broke out in the attic of a home down the street several hours after the shooting. Bernardi would not make a connection between the two incidents and said additional details would be coming.

Shots were fired into a house on the same street in October, 2015, injuring a 9-year-old in the home. The shooters fled and two suspects were eventually caught in a car on Route 72 in Manahawkin, according to NJ.com.
