Man charged with masturbating in public for third time this year

HOLMDEL — A Hazlet man has been arrested a third time for masturbating in front of women, according to NJ.com.

Patrick R. Carroll, 21, of Hazlet was arrested following the the most recent incident, which police say occured on Saturday night in the parking lot of Kohl's on Route 35, the report said. After following a woman to her car, police say, Carroll stood in front of her vehicle as she got in and began to pleasure himself.

The woman called police as she drove away, and authorities arrested Carroll for lewdness as well as possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the report quotes police saying.

Carroll also allegedly exposed himself on two separate occasions in Shrewsbury in January, according to police.
