Kashif Parvaiz and Antoinette Stephen face murder, conspiracy and weapons charges in the killing of Nazish Noorani last August. The 27-year-old Noorani was shot while walking with her husband, Parvaiz, and their 3-year-old son in the northern New Jersey suburb of Boonton.

The Daily Record reports that the defendants entered their pleas during separate arraignments in a Morris County courtroom on Monday.

Parvaiz remains in custody on $3 million bail. Stephen is being held on $5 million bail.

Parvaiz claimed their attackers called the Pakistani-American couple "terrorists," but prosecutors claim text messages link Parvaiz and Stephen to the attack.
