Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Authority Spokeswoman Erica Dumas said the pursuit began shortly after 3:30 p.m. Saturday, when authority police officers saw 35-year-old Ralph Annunziata of Oradell traveling the wrong way on an express road in front of Terminal A.

Annunziata refused to stop and instead accelerated up the ramp to the third level. He then continued back to the express road, nearly causing several accidents.

The chase eventually went on to Route 78 west, where Annunziata was forced to leave his motorcycle near Exit 55 due to heavy traffic. He ran off but was soon captured after he ran in to a moving vehicle.
